Join us for a day of photography in NYC!

Past or current students and Project Basho members are welcome to join us in New York City to explore AIPAD’s annual event, The Photography Show.

AIPAD gathers photographers together in NYC every year to experience more than 100 exhibitions from the world’s leading photography galleries.

We’ll finish the day by dining together at a Japanese restaurant.

All participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from NYC, AIPAD admission costs, and meals.

What to Bring

We’ll be doing a lot of walking, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather!

Tour Leader

Transparent_ito_headshot_125pxTsuyoshi Ito was born in Tokyo and later attended Temple University. Noticing a void in Philadelphia’s photography community, Tsuyoshi founded Project Basho in 2002, providing photography classes and darkroom space for working artists. He is particularly interested in historical processes, including techniques that bridge old and new.

Project Basho now includes ONWARD, an international photography competition.
