Description:

You've got exposure down pat, you're comfortable shooting in manual modes, but you don't know where to go next. The next essential elements you need to tackle are how your camera treats color and how to make post-processing adjustments with RAW files. If you have ever been troubled by photos that come out looking too red or too blue, or have wondered what a RAW file is, this is the tutorial for you.

Learn how to control your camera's white balance in order to achieve the perfect color temperature. Students will learn what settings to use in different lighting situations, how to set custom white balance, as well as creative ways to use white balance for effect.

Students will also learn the benefits of shooting in RAW, a file format that offers much greater flexibility and control than JPEG files. Using Adobe Photoshop, participants will learn to make their images the best they can be, and correct mistakes made while shooting.
