| Description: Seminar |
You want your prints to look like what you've been seeing on your monitor, right? This weekend workshop provides a clear and practical roadmap for printing via Adobe Photoshop CS5, and focuses on what you need to know to make great color and black-and-white inkjet prints without all the esoteric theory. Learn what monitor calibration is and why it's necessary; what ICC profiles are and how to use them appropriately; and the advantages and disadvantages of different printers and papers. Students will also learn how to confidently send files out to service bureaus, offset printers, and print-on-demand book services. Hands-on practice printing on a range of papers with Epson printers will ensure that students complete the course with both the knowledge and confidence to achieve consistent, repeatable results on their own. This workshop is for intermediate to advanced students who are already comfortable with computers and Photoshop and who want to bring their printing and color management skills to the next level. This Seminar workshop is capped to a small class size in order to guarantee maximum one-on-one attention from your instructor. |
