Join photographer, author and travel expert Amadou Diallo, on an exploration of photographically rich locations in Philadelphia. This two-day class is comprised of two components. In the field you will shoot alongside your peers in locations rich with history and extraordinary photographic opportunities. In conjunction with each shoot you will also spend time in the digital lab selecting, editing and ultimately printing your images using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Epson printers.

This class is a unique field trip, editing session, and Lightroom tutorial rolled into one with the opportunity to shoot under the guidance of a professional photographer.

One-weekend Workshop:
Saturday & Sunday, 10am - 5pm

Materials Needed:
  • A digital SLR camera and an external hard drive on which to store your image files. You will be required to shoot images in raw mode.
Prerequisite:

Photographic Vision Digital I, Intro to Digital SLR, or portfolio review

  • $400 + lab fee of $50

Instructor:

Amadou Diallo is a photographer, educator, digital imaging consultant, and author of Mastering Digital Black and White and The 50 Greatest Photo Opportunities in New York City. His words and images have been featured in national magazines and graced some of the most popular photography-related sites on the Web. His fine art photography has been exhibited in galleries nationwide. He is on the faculty at New York's renowned International Center of Photography.
