Description:

Not too far from Philadelphia, tens of thousands of acres of mashland inconspicuously lie along the Delaware Bay, creating a sanctuary for birds and other wild animals. This long weekend workshop will take a full advantage of this nature rich environment.

During this workshop, participants will spend time exploring the area extensively, shooting photographs during the day, and sharing images in the evening with others. Students will encounter different geographical conditions with lighting situations which will call for a different set of creative solutions throughout the days. In addition to your own camera, the large format camera will be available for participants to use in order to slow down the image making process.

In the evening, participants will share images through informal presentation for constructive feedback to gain a deeper understanding of the play of light, form, and composition in landscape photography.

This is a long weekend workshop where participants will immerse themselves in photography day and night, celebrating it as a creative outlet and a way to connect with others and the surrounding environment.
