This workshop is designed to create an heightened awareness for form, light, and an appreciation of the human figure. This workshop is presented in three session. The first session, concentrating on form, will utilize materials and models that will provide the participant an opportunity to experience form as a subject in itself while the second session, dealing with light, the participant will explore an heightened sense and appreciation of light as a subject. The third session will emphasize the form as subject, combining light and form into an expressive photograph.

The workshop is open for anyone who is interested in develop one's sensibility for light and form through one of the most explored motifs in the medium

Schedule:
One-weekend workshop
Saturday & Sunday, 9am - 5pm
November 1 & 2
Materials Needed:
  • Camera equipment (anything from 35mm to digital cameras)
Prerequisite:

Photographic Vision I or portfolio review

Class Fee:
  • $350 + model/studio fee of $80
Enrollment: Limited to 8

Instructors:

Kevin Martini-Fuller: Over 25 years he has been active in developing and expanding his talent and sharing his knowledge with others through his teaching. His area of expertise and passion is in historical photographic processes, specifically photogravure and carbon/carbro printing. Kevin divides his time between teaching, producing new work, and creating portfolios. Two new portfolios, "The Idaho years, 1975-1990", and "Studio closed every Friday" are scheduled to be released soon. He currently lives, teaches photography, and pursues his creative photographic interests in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
